APD seeking 18-25-year-olds for Millennial Leaders Police Citizens Academy

The Atlanta Police Department is looking for leaders between the ages of 18 and 25 for its Millennial Leaders Police Citizens Academy, an organization that encourages participants to provide feedback to enhance police and community relations.

The Millennial Leaders Police Citizens Academy includes 20-plus hours of skilled and professional instruction delivered in three-hour sessions. Classes will be offered on the following subject matter:
• Law Enforcement Interactions specific to young adults
• Law Enforcement and Social Media
• Communications and Video Integration Center Tour
• Traffic Fatalities and D.U.I.
• Active Shooter
• L.G.B.T.
• Zone Ride-A-Long
• Criminal Procedure
