Whole Foods on July 27 made the announcement that a second Atlanta store would be in Buckhead, but did not specify at the time the exact location. What Now Atlanta media outlet first named Paces Ferry Plaza as the location for the store.

“As we continue to expand the 365 by Whole Foods Market footprint nationwide, we’re targeting communities where our fresh approach to grocery shopping will make the most impact,” said Jeff Turnas, president of 365 by Whole Foods Market, in the July announcement.

“We’ve seen a very positive response thus far with our first two stores and look forward to bringing this concept to the Atlanta area,” Turnas added.

365 by Whole Foods Market opened its first store in Los Angeles in May and a second store in Lake Oswego, OR, in June.

There is some question as to where the store will be at Paces Ferry Plaza, which is located on the northeast corner of Northside Parkway and West Paces Ferry Road. Paces Ferry Plaza’s largest available space is right around 11,000 square feet, whereas the 365 stores have required around 30,000 square feet of space.

NorthWEST corner? That’s the Shell Station side. It would be the Northeast corner with Houston’s, Woo, etc.
