Rapper Drama creates some drama with Buckhead office building bomb threat

Terence Cook, who refers to himself as Atlanta rapper “Drama,” was charged Thursday (July 28) with making terroristic threats and creating a false public alarm after police say he allegedly made a bomb threat at the Lenox Plaza office building on Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

The building was evacuated but no injuries were reported and no bomb was found. The Department of Homeland Security, Atlanta Police S. W. A. T. units and Airport K-9 responded to the scene.

A sweep of the location was conducted including the suspect’s vehicle on the basement level of the parking lot. No device was located. Cook had a FedEx envelope and a book, according to police.

According to Atlanta Police, Cook, went to the fifth floor lobby of the Bader Law firm in Lenox Plaza and told employees he “was tired of being treated wrongly and that he had a bomb,”

Police said Cook was attempting to get to The Parks Group Attorneys at Law firm on the second floor but was unable to get to that floor because APD officers stopped him on the fifth floor.

The firm is owned by “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks. Parks is an entertainment attorney and has represented Cook in the past. The rapper hired Parks to defend him in 1999 when he was facing multiple robbery and battery charges.
