According to the Georgia MLS listing, the 20,000-square-foot English Manor-style mansion at 3800 Northside Drive in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Park neighborhood sits on 3.5 acres and has six bedrooms, seven full baths and five half baths.

When the deal closes, the home will be the second-highest sale in Atlanta’s history, according to the ABC report.
According to Sotheby’s International Realty citing the First Multiple Listing Service, the highest sale in the Big Peach was when entertainment mogul Tyler Perry’s home sold for $17.5 million in May. Before that, a Buckhead estate sold for $10.5 million in 2009.
Spanx founder Sara Blakely, the youngest self-made woman to join Forbes‘ Billionaire’s List and part-owner of the Atlanta Hawks, previously had the Southeastern Designer Showhouse under contract but the deal fell through, according to the ABC story.
According to southeasternshowhouse.com, the home was designed by Dietrich T. Logan of Logan Design Group International and built by Bill Preston, president of Atlanta-based Paradise Builders Inc.
Howard, an Atlanta native, recently inked a three-year, $70.5 million deal with the Hawks after three seasons with the Houston Rockets.
