Video released of Buckhead clothing store robbery, seeking public information
According to a post on the Crime Stoppers Facebook page, the 29-second YouTube video shows how the pair of suspects walked into the Buckhead store and stole cash and high-end designer handbags.
Both suspects are described by police as black males who wore white T-shirts, dark blue jeans and black masks that covered their faces and necks.
The first suspect carried a handgun, and is described as about 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a solid build. The second suspect carried a brown suitcase and is described as between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slim build.
In the YouTube video, the first suspect brandishes a handgun as he enters the store, while the second suspect enters with the suitcase. The store’s employees and customers get on the floor or fled to the back of the business.
The suspects grabbed Luis Vuitton bags and luggage and also stole the cash register that had $1,000 in cash and blank company checks in it.
One employee told police she believed she recognized the men from the day before because they came in asking the location of the men’s section.
Suspects fled the scene in what is believed to be a gold Dodge Intrepid.
