Heritage Society hosts ‘Buckhead Through the Ages’ lecture June 15

Interested in learning about the history of North Buckhead?

Buckhead Heritage Society will host “Buckhead Through the Ages,” a talk by writer Thornton Kennedy, covering topics such as the history of Chastain Park, Lake Forrest, the Lake Moore

Those who attend will also learn about historic Sardis United Methodist Church, which is located at 3725 Powers Ferry Road NW, just west of Roswell Road.

Kennedy’s lecture will take place Wednesday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Sardis church sanctuary, following a half-hour for refreshments and to get acquainted.

The cost for the lecture is $5 for members of Buckhead Heritage and $15 for non-members. For ticket reservations, click here. Space is limited so reservations are necessary.
