Tyler Perry’s Buckhead home sells for Atlanta record $17.5 million

Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry Buckhead home sale for $17.5 million has set a new record—the most expensive residential home sale in Atlanta’s history.Tyler Perry 2

The French Provincial 34,688-square-foot, 17-acre mansion overlooking the Chattahoochee River at 4110 Paces Ferry Road hit the market with a $25 million price tag. The home has seven bedrooms, nine full baths, five half baths and was built in 2007.

The home has a resort-style infinity swimming pool, a lighted tennis court, a fully equipped gym, a spa, a theater, a hobby house, gardens, a caretakers suite and an underground ballroom. The estate includes its own generator, guard house, presidential-level security, access to the Chattahoochee River and two gated residential entrances.

According to Sotheby’s, the previous highest sale in Atlanta’s history was another Buckhead estate that sold for $10.5 million in 2009.
