Thirteen Pies pizza restaurant closes at Shops Buckhead Atlanta

Raised Palate Restaurants closed the doors to its Thirteen Pies restaurant at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta Sunday night (May 1), about three and a half months after it shuttered American Food & Beverage on Jan. 14.

Word of Thirteen Pies closing came to BuckheadView from a friend and former business associate who lives in the condos adjacent to The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

When American Food & Beverage closed just a year after opening in mid-January 2015, OliverMcMillan, developer and marketer of Buckhead Atlanta, was advised Raised Palate had decided to discontinue the American Food & Beverage brand nationwide.

OM was told the Fort Worth Texas-based Raised Palate Restaurants group was going to concentrate its efforts and geographic focus around its home base of Texas.

Raised Palate Restaurants’  Thirteen Pies restaurant in The Shops of Buckhead was just a few doors away from the American Food & Beverage location on Buckhead Avenue, but there was no indication three months ago that Thirteen Pies also might be closing—just rumors on the street.

In fact, recent customers were told by staff there was no discussion of the pizza restaurant closing.
