Shops Buckhead Atlanta new Sunday street market draws a crowd
tradition at the mixed-use retail/restaurant/residential development on Peachtree Road between Pharr and East Paces Ferry Roads.
Some of the vendors at Sunday’s market were: Stokes Farm, Corso Coffee, Southern Gentleman, Urbana Wellness Spa, Dolce, Bamboo Juices, Candy Girl Events, Lion Tamer Bread, Raw Dried fruits, Herb’nEden soaps and MixteCuisine ghee.
The market is tucked within the retail shops of the development on Bolling Way between Corso Coffee and Hermes and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
Meanwhile, Spoon University has ranked Peachtree Road Farmers Market—the original Buckhead farmers market—as one of the top nine farmers markets on the East Coast of the U.S.
Spoon said, “Peachtree Road Farmers Market is still pretty young (only in its 10th year of operation), but it has already created quite a buzz in the local community. Open on Saturday mornings, rain or shine, the market features a variety of sustainable, locally-grown products, from produce to baked goods.
“A morning at Peachtree Road is really an event in and of itself, with plenty to be seen and done, from live music, to games, to live demonstrations,” Spoon reported.
So now Buckhead has two weekend outdoor markets just blocks away from each other—Saturdays in the parking lot of The Cathedral of St. Philip at 2744 Peachtree Road and Sundays on Bolling Way, just off Peachtree Road in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
