Pace Academy’s 34th Annual Pace Race is April 9

The Pace Race, scheduled for April 9, benefits the Pace Academy Booster Club, which in turn supports all of the school’s athletic programs.

paceraceNow in its 34th year, the race is a 5K run and 1-mile run/walk and is one of Buckhead’s oldest races. It is designed for serious runners seeking personal records as well as individuals and families looking for a fun fitness experience. The Pace Race course is USA Track & Field certified and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Runners and walkers should plan to stay after the race for food trucks, live music and a long list of fun activities for the kids. Live music will be provided by Streetwise, Francisco Vidal Band and Alchemy.

The race, which starts and ends at Pace Academy on W. Paces Ferry Rd., had a record number of runners in 2015, so early registration is recommended. Prices will increase after April 4.
