BuckheadView celebrates 5 years, 4th All Star Award
This week, BuckheadView also received a 2015 All Star Award from Constant Contact, the email platform used by hundreds of thousands of small organizations. This is the fourth year in a row BuckheadView has received the honor, which recognizes the most successful 10% of Constant Contact users worldwide.
The first edition of BuckheadView’s weekly email newsletter (hosted by Constant Contact) on March 16, 2011 included an article on road closures due to sewer work. It had a small audience—128. The emailed newsletters over the past weeks have included more articles on Buckhead’s problematic sewers, but with a much larger audience of close to 700 subscribers.
Most importantly, the BuckheadView website has achieved readership levels beyond anything we expected, with more than 10,000 unique visitors and 50,000 page views every week.
At 75, owner/editor John Schaffner is still committed to attending every major community meeting possible, staying on top of major Buckhead community issues and building upon his deep understanding and knowledge about Buckhead.
