NAPPS (North Atlanta Parents for Public Schools) will hold its annual panel discussion with members of the Atlanta Board of Education members Wednesday (March 23) at 12 noon at the Bolton Academy, 2268 Adams Drive NW in northwest Atlanta.

The confirmed BOE members for the discussion are: Vice Chair Nancy Meister, who represents North Atlanta District 4; District 3 Representative Matt Westmoreland; At-Large Seat 8 Representative Cynthia Briscoe-Brown, and At-Large Seat 9 Representative Jason Esteves. Briscoe-Brown is a former NAPPS president.

They will be providing our community updates on a number of important issues currently facing Atlanta Public Schools and the North Atlanta Cluster and talking about the new charter system and implementation of the GO Teams. There will be an open Q&A discussion as well.

The public is invited to all NAPPS meetings and are urged to bring their own lunch. Drinks will be provided by the host school.

The mission of NAPPS is to increase community awareness and support for the North Atlanta cluster schools. By educating the community about existing public school opportunities and advantages, NAPPS strives to strengthen the bond between community and the school system.
