Police said the officer was pulling out of the parking lot when his vehicle was T-boned by the driver of a black sedan. The driver reportedly thought he had a green light, but there appear to be no traffic signals in the area.

According to authorities at the scene, the GSP trooper was pulling out of a parking lot when the driver of a black sedan ran into the side of the trooper’s car.

The driver told officers he thought he had a green light to proceed, and that’s why he crashed. But investigators say there were no signal lights in the immediate area where the accident happened.

Troopers arrested the driver on scene and he could be facing alcohol-related charges.
