Tom Ford boutique to open Feb. 15 at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta
women’s boutique opens for business, according to what Michael Diamantides, OliverMcMillan’s general manager, told BucklheadView.
In addition to Tom Ford, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery and COS will be open by the end of February, making it a good month for new places to visit at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. OliverMcMillan promises there are more new openings to come this spring.
Tom Ford merchandise ranges from luxury men’s and women’s apparel, shoes and accessories to fragrances and luggage. Ford became a fashion icon as creative director of Gucci in the late ‘90s. He launched his own menswear label in 2006, adding womenswear in 2010.
Tom Ford has been in expansion mode, with plans to bring the company’s store total to a whopping 104, including 58 shop-in-shops this year (boutique shops within department stores).
Although store renderings haven’t been shared, it likely will be similar to the recently opened Houston, Texas, store. That design is modern and luxurious, in a palette of grey, black and silver.
The posted building permit for the Buckhead boutique notes that the store is 5,249 square feet, with a construction cost of
$1,279 million. The contractor is listed as Shawmut Woodworking and Supply of Boston, MA.
If you plan to visit, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta offers guests three hours of free self-parking with validation from any of the shops or restaurants within the development. After the three hours, regular rates apply.
