Police seek public help in finding robber of Buckhead bank

Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man they say robbed the Wells Fargo bank at 4454 Roswell Road in Buckhead at gunpoint at approximately 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12.

Police said the man walked into the bank, pointed a handgun at a teller, and said “give me all your money!” The teller complied and gave the man around $7,000. After getting the money, the man fled in a red SUV which was last spotted traveling westbound on Wieuca Road.

According to police, witnesses described the suspect as a black male, 20-25 years old, short, thin build, wearing black jeans, black sweat shirt, black hat and a red bandanna covering the lower half of his face.

If you recognize the person in the above image, contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), texting “CSA Tip” to CRIMES (274637), or by submitting a tip online. All tips can be made anonymously, and tipsters are eligible for rewards of up to $2,000.
