Man behind UberEATS locally to address Buckhead Business Assn.
Association on Thursday, Nov. 12, about the launching UberEATS in Buckhead, Midtown and downtown.
UberEATS is an on-demand food delivery service that lets users select from a curated daily menu of items, which can be delivered during lunchtime in under 10 minutes.
Hsu will be speaking at the BBA’s breakfast meeting at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, which is held at The City Club of Buckhead, on the 18th floor of the office building at 3343 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Cost for attending is $10 for BBA members and $20 for visitors and guests and includes continental breakfast and validated self-parking.
Previously Hsu was director of strategy & pricing at AT&T in the Big Data & Advanced Solutions group, overseeing a team focused on monetizing cellular location information.
Before joining AT&T he served as an officer in the U. S. Coast Guard, including time on a 378’ cutter performing counter-narcotics off the coast of Central America and later as Lieutenant in charge of depot maintenance for the High Endurance Cutter fleet.
Hsu has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and a B. S. in Electrical Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy. When he’s not thinking about food Peter enjoys skiing, rock climbing, and backpacking.
