1st Children’s Hunger Fund Toy Wrap to be held in Buckhead Nov. 14
For over 20 years, the children’s charity has held annual Toy Wraps which are multiple volunteer events where families are welcomed to come and wrap toys for children in need.
Children’s Hunger Fund now holds nine different Toy Wraps in six different locations nationwide.
Adults, children, students, and families of all ages are invited to come for a morning of Christmas fun. The event is free and open to the public, but does require registration at ChildrensHungerFund.org/toywrap.
The wrapped toys will then be distributed to children in need around Atlanta by local trained volunteers as a part of Children’s Hunger Fund’s work in the region.
Dave Phillips, president and founder of Children’s Hunger Fund, says, “This is a day when families can come together, roll up their sleeves, and give back to their own community. We’re excited to bring America’s Toy Wrap for the first time to Atlanta.”
Headquartered in California, Children’s Hunger Fund started in the Atlanta area as a distribution hub of food and other aid for the Southeastern region. Its distribution centers partner with local churches and volunteers to serve the poor through relationship building and lasting care.
Children’s Hunger Fund has been committed to gospel-centered mercy ministry for over 20 years. In all, CHF has distributed more than 1 billion dollars in food and other resources, serving the needs of more than 20 million children throughout the U.S. and in 72 countries worldwide.
