breakfast meeting of the Buckhead Business Association.

The BBA breakfast meetings are held 7:30-9 a.m. at The City Club of Buckhead, on the 18th floor of the office building at 3343 Peachtree Road NE. Cost of attending is $10 for BBA members and $20 for guests and visitors and includes a continental breakfast and validated free self-parking.

Opened in 1917, the original E. Rivers Elementary School burned down in 1948, and a new school was then constructed on the same site at the corner of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Battle Avenue. That facility has since been replaced by a brand new school on the same site.

Construction on the third E. Rivers building occurred over the past two years while students were temporarily located in the former Sutton Middle School campus adjacent to Chastain Park. E. Rivers opened its new classroom doors earlier this year and Rogers will discuss the new changes and updates to the school.

E. Rivers serves the South Buckhead communities of Loring Heights, Ardmore Park, Brookwood Hills, Underwood Hills, Collier Hills, Peachtree Hills and Colonial Homes. E. Rivers Elementary feeds Sutton Middle School and North Atlanta High School.
