Rock Chastain concert Oct. 16 benefits Chastain Conservancy programs

Rock Chastain, the benefit concert for the Chastain Park Conservancy, is just one week away andwill feature Chuck Leavell, the long‐time keyboard player for the Rolling Stones along with the 2015 Georgia Music Award winner for Best Female Rock Artist, Michelle Malone.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. on Oct. 16 at the Chastain Park Amphitheater. Tickets have been selling for $50 per person and  have been available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com. Tables of six are also available for purchase.

But the Conservancy is now offering a special price of $25 per ticket. The new friends and family promo code of CHASTAINROCKS went live last week, but apparently some people had trouble using it. Here is how to get the $25 tickets: To unlock the CHASTAINROCKS promotion go to ticketmaster.com and look for Rock Chastain. Put promo code CHASTAINROCKS under “got an offer code”. Once the promo unlocks click the $25 tickets under the “Price & Section” drop down menu.

Due to the Conservancy’s 501‐c‐3 status, ticket holders can receive a tax deduction for their purchase.

The Chastain Park Conservancy, which keeps Atlanta’s largest park (268 acres) safe, clean and green, is in the final phase of a $5.2‐million capital campaign. The 30,000‐square‐foot playground and a one‐mile widening of The Path’s walking and running trail that parallels Powers Ferry Road are currently under construction.

These improvements follow the completion of a new tennis center and the reclaiming of three acres of green space that was converted to youth athletic fields.

The Conservancy administers a 20‐year master plan for the park that has the approval and support of the city. For one night, however, the Conservancy and its supporters will take time to celebrate its accomplishments with Chuck Leavell, Michelle Malone and those who love Chastain Park.

“We are very proud of our support in The Chastain Park Conservancy. As a neighboring business, we want to involve ourselves in the sustainability of such a great community asset. We look forward to getting even more involved in the future,” said David Coxon, president and CEO, Georgia Primary Bank‐Presenting Sponsor of ROCK Chastain 2015

“I’m excited, too! It’ll be a great night of fabulous homegrown music,” added Michelle Malone via

Rock Chastain tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.
