Opening hour of Peachtree Rd. Farmers Market changes to 9 a.m. Oct. 3
Also, don’t get discouraged if you don’t see the usual tents in the parking lot of The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Due to the expected rain, the market this Saturday, Oct. 3, is moving inside the church to the Child Hall. So, stay dry and enjoy Saturday morning.
The Peachtree Road Farmers Market, which is usually located in the parking lot of The Cathedral of St. Philip , has a bunch of goodies lined up for October and November in addition to all the
home-grown food items offered by the vendors.
Self-taught chef, Chef Todd Richards, who has worked as Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, Partner/Chef at The Shed – where he was recognized as a James Beard Best Chef Semifinalist – and The Pig & The Pearl, will perform the chef demonstration at the market Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.
Chef Todd Richards was also concept developer for One Flew South, the nation’s top rated airport restaurant, and now is at the helm of the kitchen at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails where he works to leverage the classical nature of his experience at The Ritz-Carlton with the unpretentious nature of neighborhood restaurants.
For those who shop the market, here is an opportunity gain an additional benefit. Buy 7 different types of fruits and vegetables from the farmers and be entered to win $20 in Market tokens, good at all of the vendors.
