Saks OFF 5th may take part of Toys“R”Us Buckhead Station space

New York City-based Saks Fifth Avenue plans to bring its lower priced OFF 5TH concept to Buckhead Station next year, in a portion of space Toys“R”Us is scheduled to vacate Sept. 6,

according to a report by Tomorrow’s News Today Atlanta.

Property owner Equity One, which purchased the center in 2007, also operates The Gallery Westbury Plaza on Long Island, NY, a two-story center that is home to Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy and a Saks OFF 5TH, among other retailers.

TNT Atlanta had not been able to get anyone from Equity One or Saks to confirm the retailer’s plans, but reported “multiple well-placed sources indicate a deal is in place to bring the store to the Buckhead center. It’s believed that OFF 5th will occupy about 25-30,000 square feet of the overall 45,000 square foot space.
