Buckhead to get new Burger 21 restaurant July 27 at Chastain Square
On opening day, the first 100 customers will receive free Burger 21 swag bags, and during the restaurant’s first week of business it plans to donate 10 percent of its proceeds to CURE Childhood Cancer, according to a press release.
The new restaurant is locally owned by new Burger 21 franchisee Chris Bastecki and three of his six children: Chris, Alyssa, and Briana, who will manage the restaurant’s daily operations. Bastecki is an owner of six Jimmy John’s locations in Gwinnett County that he and his three oldest children own and operate.
“We spent nearly 18 months searching for a new franchise partner. After dining at Burger 21 for the first time and becoming obsessed with the delicious flavor profiles of the food, we knew that the brand was the right choice for us,” said Bastecki.
“Burger 21 has become our family’s favorite place to eat and we are confident the rest of Atlanta will enjoy the experience as much as we do,” he added.
In addition to offering guests a variety of chef-inspired beef and non-beef burger creations—like the Tex-Mex Haystack, Spicy Thai Shrimp, Black Bean and Mediterranean Chicken—the Buckhead location will also offer fresh salads, hand-crafted shakes, a gluten-free menu, as well as craft beer and wine by the glass.
The 3,133-square-foot space has room to seat 131 customers inside and 15 outside, and will operate from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday–Saturday. The Buckhead restaurant will hire 35-45 new team members.
