City Council expected to approve fiscal 2016 budget Wednesday

The Atlanta City Council is expected to approve the city’s fiscal 2016 budget during its meeting Wednesday at 3 p.m. The budget must be passed by June 30, when the current fiscal year ends.

The meeting will be held in the council chamber on the second floor of City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave. in downtown Atlanta, and is open to the public.

A copy of the proposed fiscal 2016 budget is available to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays in the office of the municipal clerk, located on the fifth floor of the Atlanta City Hall Tower, 68 Mitchell St. downtown.

The proposed budget can also be viewed online by visiting, clicking on the department of finance webpage link and then on the office of budget and policy link.
